Important information about access to Library electronic resources from 1 September 2008
From Monday 1 September the University will no longer be using Athens usernames and passwords to access our electronic resources. This is a result of a national decision and is affecting all universities across the UK.
From this date please use your Coventry University username and password to access all resources that previously used Athens.
For more information about these changes please see the Library’s Passwords web page.
Note: The most reliable way to access our e-resources is via the eLibrary. If you link to e-resources from here you will be prompted to login if necessary.
If you have any problems accessing our e-resources please ask at an enquiry desk in the Library or contact your Subject Librarian.

Web of Knowledge database replaced by Scopus
The database Web of Knowledge has now been replaced by Scopus. These databases contain very similar content and it wasn't practical to subscribe to both of them. After careful consideration it was decided to cancel Web of Knowledge and just use Scopus as this database contains more records and is more user-friendly.
If you have been a Web of Knowledge user in the past, please try searching Scopus from now on.
You can link to Scopus from the eLibrary.
